Wintringham will be delivering aged care services in Hobart, Tasmania!
Wintringham is very excited to announce that in conjunction with the Tasmanian Government, we have won a major Commonwealth tender to deliver services in Tasmania.
In an official announcement by the Minister for Human Services, Jacquie Petrusma, the Tasmanian Government will build an aged care facility to Wintringham’s design in Hobart on a splendid government owned site in Bellerive. (Tasmanian press release). The Commonwealth, for its part, will provide the bed licences and recurrent funding to enable Wintringham to deliver much needed aged care services to elderly disadvantaged Tasmanians.
Our CEO Bryan Lipmann AM and Wintringham Vice President Gerard Mansour travelled to Hobart to join Minister Petrsuma and Senator Eric Abetz to make the announcement.
This is a major development for Wintringham and a real indicator of what the future holds. We have always felt that what we have achieved for older vulnerable people in Victoria should be possible right across Australia.
Tasmania - here we come!!
