Wintringham provides tenancy management and housing support services for all units. All Wintringham units remain the property of Housing Tasmania

Who is eligible?
To be eligible for this housing in Tasmania, you must:
- Live in Tasmania
- Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident, including Refugee visa subclasses 200, 201, 202, 203, and 204
- Be aged 50 years or older
- Be a low income earner who is eligible for a Commonwealth Health Care Card
- Not own land or a home of your own
- Not have financial assets worth more than $35,000. This includes things like shares, property and money in the bank. This amount includes your assets and the assets of any other people who live in your household. It does not include things like your car or your household items.
Is this housing permanent?
Yes, all tenants are offered a lease in accordance with the Residential Tenancy Act.
Is there support available if I need it?
Yes, Wintringham offers range of care and support services, which are available to everyone living in our housing. We work closely with our tenants to help them live happily in their new home.
How do I apply?
Applications for social housing in Tasmania must be made through Housing Connect.
