Wintringham Hobart
A beautiful and modern, yet homely feel
Wintringham’s first Residential Aged Care home in Tasmania, is located at 66 Alexandra Esplanade Bellerive. The home was purpose-built by the Tasmanian Government to Wintringham’s award winning standards.
The site accommodates and cares for 40 older Tasmanians aged 50 years and over who are experiencing or vulnerable to homelessness, or are financially disadvantaged, making it the first of its kind in Tasmania to offer such specialised services.
This home will offer a mix of low care and high care support, meaning it can cater to varying levels of need, as residents age in place.
We provide a safe, flexible, and caring family-style environment that allows residents to maintain their chosen lifestyles, hobbies and activities, and to be as independent as they would like.
Location
This beautiful site is situated close to Howrah and Eastland, and is only a short stroll to the beach. A variety of different shopping villages are within walking distance as well as cafes, bakeries, and various allied health services are nearby.
