This year we celebrated 35 years supporting vulnerable older people. Throughout this time, Wintringham has remained consistent in our commitment to supporting older people who have experienced, or are vulnerable to, homelessness.
Our unique approach to providing care and support to elderly homeless people ensures our values of Options, Dignity and Rights remain at the centre of all we do. This has enabled Wintringham to support all clients and residents across Wintringham, including some with very complex needs, to live in 'a home until stumps'.
While Wintringham has always taken pride in our inclusive culture, in 2023 we conducted our inaugural 'Staff Diversity & Inclusion Survey,' uncovering key findings that indicated 1.2% of staff identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, 32% were born outside Australia, and 76% identify as female. The valuable insights provided through the survey will inform our strategy and enhance client support.

Thank you to our many supporters who have throughout the year assisted and advocated alongside us, so we can continue our work supporting older people, who are experiencing or vulnerable to homelessness.
