It’s official – our new 35-unit community housing site, Patricia Larkin housing in Golden Square, Bendigo is now open.

“This project is an important step in addressing the housing needs of vulnerable older Australians who are experiencing, or at risk of homelessness in the Bendigo area. We are proud to be part of this achievement,” said Wintringham CEO Bryan Lipmann AM.

Made possible with the support of the Victorian State Government and the Peter & Lyndy White Foundation, the project also highlights the value of partnerships to find  practical community housing solutions.

“We are grateful for the financial support from the Victorian State Government and the Peter & Lyndy White Foundation. The Foundation’s contribution is instrumental in helping us provide much-needed housing, security, and dignity to vulnerable older Australians,” Bryan added.

This project marks a significant advancement in our efforts to provide not just housing, but stability and dignity to those in need.

Wintringham Deputy CEO Michael Deschepper who attended the site opening, with Member for Bendigo West Maree Edwards MP said, “We look forward to welcoming residents to their new homes at Patricia Larkin, and to contributing to a future where older people have access to a safe and affordable home.”

Congratulations to everyone involved in this successful partnership.
