Abdul has lived in Australia for many years, a number of them at Ron Conn in Avondale Heights. He wanted very much to become an Australian Citizen but, because of his cognitive impairment, the citizenship test presented a huge barrier. It took a lot of time, patience and repetitions but Abdul was determined as was Peter Demetriou who sat with him for hours of practice tests.
Abdul passed the Citizenship test with a score of 85%. Welcome, new citizen. You're made of the right stuff!
