Not all elderly people who are frail or vulnerable require residential care services. For many, the provision of affordable and dignified housing, or assistance in maintaining existing tenancies, is sufficient.
Wintringham offers services which enable older people to exercise choices and maintain control over their personal health, daily routines and lifestyle.

In addition, a broad and innovative range of recreational options, designed to reconnect people and communities, are offered to those who are interested. Wintringham’s dedicated Recreation specialists are enthusiastic and creative.
Wintringham’s outreach care and advocacy services are flexible and appropriate to a diverse range of needs. Our workers assist vulnerable older people to access appropriate housing, care or support services that are provided either by our own teams or by other agencies.
Wintringham also provides an extensive and growing number of Home Care packages which provide personal aged care services to clients in their own homes, whether that is private rental, public housing or owner occupied. These services assist an elderly person to retain their independence without the need to enter a residential facility.
Details of these options can be found here:

Wintringham manages these services through a number of Community Housing and Support offices.
